21 April 2010, Hastings
A joint LSP event organised by Locate East Sussex, to explore whether there is an opportunity to work together more effectively to encourage business investment into, and economic expansion within, the county in order to combat the effects of recession.
As you will see from the report, there are a number of issues that were also identified that are outside Locate’s remit and these will be considered as we put together the Local Economic Assessment and revised Economic Strategy for East Sussex in coming months. The Strategy will be agreed by the East Sussex Strategic Partnership who will be informed by the extensive Annual Business Survey and the recently re-launched East Sussex Business Board. If you would like further details of this work please contact Kieran McNamara, Assistant Director Economy and Community Services, ESCC; call 01273 481264, or email kieran.mcnamara@eastsussex.gov.uk
