Delivering the LAA Delivering Pride of Place (2008-2026)
There are three sets of action plan which will help deliver Pride of Place:
- Local Area Agreements
Local Area Agreements (LAAs) run for three years. Find more information on the latest Local Area Agreement (LAA2) which runs from 2008 - 2011.
- Pride of Place Countywide Action Plan
View the Pride of Place Countywide Action Plan. The Countywide Action Plan aims to complement and add value to all other plans by having actions that are:
- Not being delivered through any other existing plan
- Highly strategic i.e. no more than one or two actions per theme
- Focused on prevention and development work, and
- Longer term, up to 10 years, subject to review.
- Local Action Plans
Local Action Plans from the District and Borough Sustainable Community Strategies, partners' own plans or other partnership plans e.g. the East Sussex Safer Community Agreement. A summary of all the countywide strategies that will help deliver Pride of Place is appended to the Countywide Action Plan.

Comprehensive Area Assessment
The Oneplace website at www.direct.gov.uk/oneplace has been set up by the main local services watchdogs, including the Audit Commission, the Quality Care Commission, Ofsted and Her Majesty's Inspectorates of Constabulary, Prisons and Probation.
It assesses how well your local services are working together to improve the problems affecting your community. It judges how well the council, police, health organisations and housing bodies are improving issues that are important to residents.
