Our Partners
The East Sussex Strategic Partnership (ESSP) has 23
members representing public, private and voluntary and community sector organisations that play a central role in delivering Pride of Place, the East Sussex Sustainable Community Strategy and the Local Area Agreement .
For a list of current members, see ESSP members.
Working in partnership allows us to share ideas, information and resources, and provide better quality services which can create real and positive changes for individuals and communities in East Sussex.
ESSP works closely with:
- The East Sussex Assembly, the ESSP's consultative and advisory forum, which comprises almost 100
organisations and partnerships
that are
involved or interested in Pride of Place and the Local Area Agreement.
- Countywide Thematic Partnerships that play a central role in planning and commissioning services including the East Sussex Adult Learning and Skills Board, the Children and Young People's Trust, the East Sussex Housing Officers Group, the East Sussex Older People's Partnership Board and the East Sussex Safer Communities Partnership.
- The five district and borough Local Strategic Partnerships (Eastbourne, Hastings, Lewes District, Rother and Wealden). Each of these, like ESSP, coordinates community planning and partnership working in their area.
