Awards for top nurseries and childcare professionals
Outstanding nurseries and top childcare professionals in East Sussex
are to
get awards from the County Council for their achievements.
The new Building A Future Together Awards formally recognise early
years
settings that achieve exceptional inspection standards and
qualifications. To qualify
for an award, nurseries or child minders must
achieve Ofsted's 'outstanding'
assessment category for childcare, nursery
education or both. Individual child care professionals who also achieve the
Early Years Professional status will qualify
for an award as well.
Nurseries already in line to receive the award are:
- Isfield Pre-school, Isfield
- The Old School House Montessori Nursery, Lewes
- Robertsbridge Children's Services, Robertsbridge
- Broad Oak Pre-school, Broad Oak
- Herstmonceux Pre School, Herstmonceux
- Fiddlesticks Nursery, Lewes
- The Little Ark, Eastbourne
- Rainbow Nursery, Eastbourne
- JHM Childcare, Crowborough
- The Acorns Nursery School, Westmeston (nr Ditchling)
- Maypole Montessori, Uckfield
- Annan Farm Small School, Framfield
- Etchingham Under Fives Playgroup, Etchingham
Several individuals who have achieved Early Years Professional
status are
