Our progress

East Sussex Strategic Partnership (ESSP) manages and measures progress in four ways:

Plan for performance
We produce Pride of Place, the Sustainable Community Strategy for East Sussex, a Local Area Agreement (LAA) setting out our performance indicators and targets and a Countywide Action Plan.

Manage delivery
We manage the delivery of services, listen to the views of service users and take action if we are not achieving our targets.

Monitor and report progress
We monitor performance by collecting and analysing data from partners and checking that the data used is accurate. We use this information to produce performance monitoring reports four times a year and publish these on East Sussex in Figures.

Revise plans
We work with countywide thematic partnerships to review and update Pride of Place and its delivery plans to ensure they continue to reflect the needs and aspirations of local people.
